The basic NARKS objective is the integration of Slovak Realtors in the real estate market, their prosperity, promoting their interests, mutual cooperation of NARKS members in all areas of real estate business, the use of new knowledge in fields related to the needs of association members, improving the quality of services they provide and consumer protection . Among the most important tasks include legislative amendment to the conditions relating to real estate activities and increase professional level of real estate agents - members of NARKS. NARKS issues quarterly newsletter "The NARKS Informer" for its members.

NARKS liaise with European and overseas organizations of similar orientation. NARKS is a member of the European Confederation of Real Estate IEC based in Brussels, has signed protocols on cooperation with the American National Association of Realtors (NAR), the American Foundation for the Development of the property market in the world (IRPF), the Realtors Association of the Czech Republic. NARKS organizes technical conferences with international participation, and real estate fair - SlovReal Invest (www.sri.sk)

According to basic NARKS principle which is Realtors pooling throughout Slovakia, the NARKS is open to cooperation with all bodies working in the real estate market, which emphasize the high professional standards and ethical principles in their activities.

NARKS members offer services associated with buying, selling and renting property (houses and villas, land, rental houses, apartments and business premises, commercial and office space, manufacturing and warehouse space), development of land for investment activity, construction and investment activities (housing, rebuilding and reconstruction), real estate management, comprehensive legal services related to the transfer and real estate management and auction business.
